We have created a tips form for KCK Preps.
Anonymous tips are very welcomed.
Here are the recommended subjects that may be worth using the tip box for?
1. Am I missing someone in terms of giving them coverage? Send me a tip and maybe some information about the player.
2. Is something shady going on in high school sports in KCK? If so, send me the tip. Cleaning up high school sports is my number one mission right now. I know many are afraid to leave their names on tips that could involve community-altering stories, so that's why I'm accepting them anonymously.
3. Any feedback or information on any item you may consider news.
Sending tips does not guarantee that I'll cover the story.
But it makes me aware of the fact that something is going on. If it's a tip about positive news in the community, the odds of covering it are a lot more higher.
Again, while you don't have to leave your name, leaving your name may guarantee a quick response from me. Though you do not have to, I encourage you to leave contact information for a possible response down the road.
Another thing that will make odds a lot higher: Being polite.
