Harmon girls soccer coach Carlos Olivas has been named the head coach of the Harmon boys soccer program.
Olivas, who will replace former coach Jeffrey Dysart, has led the girls soccer program to their best three seasons in program history in back-to-back-to-back seasons.
Last year, the Lady Hawks finished the season with just two losses and were just one game away from state the past two years.
Olivas will continue to serve as the head coach of the Lady Hawks, as boys soccer is held during the fall and girls soccer is held during the spring in Kansas.
"Taking over a program I once played for over a decade ago was definitely a dream of mine and now I'm coaching both the Lady Hawks and the Hawks," Olivas said.
Olivas, a Harmon alum, was also a key player on the last Hawks team that went to state.
