HIGHLIGHTS: T.J. Wallace, one of the cornerstones of the Schlagle Hogs

Last year after covering the Schlagle Stallions-Wyandotte Bulldogs football game, Schlagle offensive linemen T.J. Wallace and Stephan Wallace requested me to start calling their offensive line the "Schlagle Hogs."

After they put up over 60 points and nearly 500 yards of rushing on Wyandotte that night, it was well deserved.

Here's one of the anchors of that offense line - T.J. Wallace.

Wallace is a tremendous lineman on both sides of the ball. He's a monster of a blocker on the offensive line and he's a great short-yardage stopper on the defensive side of the ball.

He made two 3rd-and-1 stops alone on Bonner Springs, a team that was very good offensively last year.

Even though it's tough to place stats on an offensive lineman, Wallace has to be considered a candidate for the KCK Preps Player of the Year. Offensive linemen are so important to the game of football and in KCK, Wallace is one of the best.

He's definitely a Division 1 type prospect who deserves more love metro-wide and certainly more attention from college scouts.

Here are highlights from his junior season.
