Berry's hat trick leads Turner to upset win against Basehor-Linwood

It's not often a player can say he had a passing touchdown, receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown in a game.

However, Turner junior quarterback Paul Berry can make that claim after Friday night's game at Basehor-Linwood.

Berry had a touchdown in all three areas of offense, as Turner surprised Basehor-Linwood 28-22 on the road, improving to 3-2 on the season and sending Basehor to 2-3 on the year.

Berry had a 26-yard touchdown run, a 20-yard touchdown pass and a 21-yard touchdown reception. All three of those plays came on fourth down.

Overall, Berry finished the game with 192 yards on the ground.

Ben Johnson and Drew Potter provided the biggest offense of the night for Basehor. Johnson hauled in a 28-yard touchdown pass, while Potter had 120 yards on the ground and two touchdowns for the Bobcats rushing attack.

Speaking of three's - it's Turner's third straight win after an 0-2 start.
