In his short career as Bonner Springs' starting quarterback, Jordan Jackson has dropped some big numbers on the opposition.
Friday night, he did it again, this time against Lansing on the road.
Jackson's five-touchdown game was the headline as the Braves dominated Lansing 34-7, improving to 20-0 in both the regular season and in league play.
Travis Dooley was on the receiving end of two touchdowns from Jackson - a 97-yard score and a 50-yard score.
Bonner Springs led 12-0 at halftime, but scored 16 points in the third quarter to turn the game into a blowout.
Defensive lineman Tyler Howell was a force during the game for the Braves. He tallied three sacks to lead the way for the Braves on defense.
After two road wins, Bonner Springs will hold its home opener against Bishop Ward next Friday night.
Ward is on a 20-game losing streak spanning back to the 2009 season.
