I apologize.

These recaps are not as good as the ones in recent weeks have been.

I had trouble getting some game stats this week, so I'll try to follow up more over the weekend.

SCHLAGLE 53, Sumner Academy 20: J'veyon Browning carried the ball for over 300 yards in the game, inching closer and closer to the 3,000-yard milestone. Schlagle's won eight straight games in the Kansas City Kansas - Atchison League.

Atchison 21, WYANDOTTE 6: After a scoreless first half, Atchison rebounded in the second half to score three touchdowns. Atchison scored the game-winner near the end of the third quarter. With the victory, Atchison is 3-1, while the Bulldogs drop to 3-1 on the season.

Basehor-Linwood 44, LANSING 20: The Bobcats rebounded with a nice performance on the road. Caleb Hiss had an interception return for a touchdown that put the Bobcats up by two scores early on. Meanwhile, Ben Johnson had a big night on both offense and defense for Basehor-Linwood. It was the Bobcats offensive line that performed well again. Drew Potter's two-yard score ended up being the game-winning touchdown in the game. Lansing was within 22-14 late in the second quarter, but Tanner Garver engineered a drive near halftime to help the Bobcats extend the lead back to two scores.

Mill Valley 59, TONGANOXIE 0: As one might expect, a game featuring two teams going in opposite directions would end in a blowout. The Jaguars were up 45-0 and quarterback Skyler Windmiller finished his (short) game 9-of-10 for 212 yards. Logan Koch ran for 110 yards for the Jaguars, while Nick Wilson added 74 yards on the ground.
