Bonner Springs Names Preston Williams Head Swim Coach

Bonner Springs High School is excited to announce Preston Williams as the new Head Swim Coach. Coach Williams will be leading the BSHS Boys and Girls Swim Programs. 

Coach Williams has a diverse background in coaching, as he has coached the Bonner Springs YMCA swim team and Lake of the Forest swim teams the last three years. 

He has spent the last 3 ½ years coaching at Maranatha Academy as an assistant cross country and track coach. 

Coach Williams works at the YMCA and leads several fitness and swim classes. He is also a certified USA Triathlon coach and has competed in numerous Ironman Triathlons.

The selection committee consisted of Mike Lewis, Parent; Rick Moulin, Vice-Principal; Joe Hornback, Principal; John Hilton, Vice-Principal/Activities Director.

"We are excited to have Coach Preston Williams leading our swim program at Bonner Springs High School. His background in physical fitness will be an asset not only to our swim programs but to our entire athletic program. What excites me the most about Coach Williams is his enthusiasm and competitive nature. I believe that his ability to relate with young people and his high energy level with draw our student/athlete to his program.
