Pitchers Needed for Indoor Baseball League

by David Brox, davidbrox@shukc.com

I am available to answer any preliminary questions.  Coach Steve Kesler is a co-worker of mine and a friend.  This is a good family atmosphere to get some baseball work in before the season starts.

ATTN: HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL PLAYERS

KC YANKEES USSSA TEAM LOOKING FOR PITCHERS INTERESTED IN PLAYING IN THE INDOOR LEAGUE AT JCCC. See below:

Johnson County Community College will be hosting their 20th Annual Indoor Baseball League beginning in November.

Session 1 = November 4th - December 9th (10 Years Old - High School Senior)
Session 2 = January 13th - February 17th (10 Years Old - High School Senior)

Teams will be made up of 6-7 players and will play games against other teams from all around the KC area.  Games are as game like as possible except for base running and defense and are inside a batting tunnel.  Pitchers will throw to hitters and hitters will see live pitching.  Different areas of the cage are designated for homeruns and singles.  This is a great way to develop year round.  Not only will you get a 7 inning game each Sunday but you will also have access to one of the finest facilities in the Midwest.  The over 43,000 square foot area will allow your team to get some extra practice in on Sunday's (ONLY) between the hours of 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM as space allows.

League will fill up quick so if you are interested please email me your team name, indoor league roster, and age group to save a spot.  After you save your spot I will let you know how each individual needs to register.

Please contact Coach Kesler at 913-461-7953 if interested. Deadline to register is Nov. 2nd.
