I want to say thanks once again to coach Andy Price at Bonner. He is allowing us to call the game friday night and made another offer I didn't want to refuse. KCK Preps will be broadcasting the game Thursday evening for the Bonner girls. I am excited about this 19 and 1 team as they continue their march toward a state tournament bid. We are proud of the ladies at Bonner and will be there to root them on. I understand Piper will be there as well so it should be a fun night for KCK.
With that said I want to see KCK represent. I have been pretty vocal on twitter and general conversation about my disappointment with the crowd at Sumner tuesday night but I am confident we can make it better the next 3 nights and support these teams. I will be about as frank as I can here. If the fans and the area does not care then how on earth can we expect colleges or other areas to take us serious. I have expressed some of the issues we face in KCK in regards to exposure and I realize that economics is one of them. This however is not an excuse not to attend the games.
I hope that I am making KCK Preps committment quite plain. We will call a game Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and hopefully on Saturday to help support these teams. I hope the fans wake up and take out the 2 hours to attend these games.
To any Bonner football fans. I have 3 copies of the football year in review if you would like one please come see me during the game tomorrow. I don't know where we will be setup but just look for the incredibly handsome guy next to the microphone. I will give them to the first 3 people that say the key phrase. "Jordan Jackson had 17 TD's and 1 INT!" or "I like crepes!" Either will work. I will try to make this fun. Second will be a coupon for a free 1 game 3 minute highlight (you must provide the film) of a game. You can get it for yourself or give it to a friend. I just need to know who the leading scorer is for the Lady Braves.
