Right now I am only aware of one person that will not be able to attend. I completely understand that situation. I am expecting a nice turn out. I have put a lot of work into these highlights so I really hope everyone enjoys them. It will be early but bring your popcorn.
Plan to arrive at 9:45 AM to get seated. Legends theater. We will have some snacks and refreshments for you to get settled in. I have every intention of starting promptly at 10:05. The first and my favorite video will be first so it will be worth being on time. I am very appreciative of everyone taking the time out and we will move the ceremony along quickly as I know this will be a busy day for everyone.
I will thank them until this is over. Our sponsors are generous and I appreciate them. The cost of a event like this goes beyond the time put into it so sponsorship is what is going to keep these events alive. Emmit Lockridge who is presenting on behalf of the Black Police Officer Association will be back from the football ceremony. Nick Verbenec Photography joins us in our second program. I have seen his work and it is impressive. So be sure and check him out at
www.nickverbenecphotography.com for any of you photographic needs.
We have 32 trophies to present. We will laugh, cheer and possibly cry but overall I want the message to be positive. This is a community event. Come ready to meet other parents and friends of the site. Our site and coverage only grows with the support of you and rallying together for these events is an important step in going to the next level is high school sports coverage.
We have many fantastic stories coming out of the area. 1 state championship, 1 state runner up, another state qualifier, Direnna award winner, Eddie Ryan award winner, D1 scholorships in football among other accomplishments. We will hopefully create one more memory on saturday.
Please email me above if you have any questions and I can't wait to see everyone saturday morning 9:45.
