Pirates football team leads the way in awards

Eight different Piper Pirates football players earned awards at last weekend's KCK Preps Awards Presentation. Head coach Chris Brindle and linebacker Colton Beebe took home two of the top three awards.

Neal Boyce Commits to Baker

Sumner Academy center fielder Neal Boyce has committed to play baseball for Baker University.

Boyce finished his senior season with the Sabres batting .564 with 20 RBI, 7 doubles and 3 triples.  He along with Sam Falcon led the Sabres to a League title.

Congrats to you Neal.  We wish you nothing but success at the next level.
