KCK Preps Premiere - KCK Preps Anthem

I would first like to introduce you to K Town who is a local artist from Bonner Springs, KS.  His real name is Kevin London and he is a senior at Bonner Springs.  I was poking around on twitter when I saw a post from K Town who said he was just finishing a studio session.  One thing I have been looking for is an artist that could put some music to KCK Preps and what happened next is amazing.

I responded to K Town and asked if he would be interested in putting something together.  He asked me for some very basic details about the site and what I was looking for the song to be about.  With in a few hours he messaged me to say he had an idea and I woke up this morning to a song in my email.

Now I don't know a lot about producing music but considering we had just discussed the concept I had no idea I would be getting a sample the next morning. I asked him about the process he used.

"Well, I told you that I would get the song done quick. I don't know if I really have a process. All I really have to do is hear a beat and vibe to it and I go from there."

His favorite rapper of all time is Tupac.  This alone may explain the skill if he patterns himself after Tupac.

I'm Gonna Get You Sucka was a funny movie back in my day.  One of the classic lines from that movie was about theme music.

Jack Spade: [looks at musicians] Who are these guys?
John Spade: They're my theme music. Every hero's got to have some.

Well KCK Preps now has its theme music.
